The new RenderUSA 2.0 looks great. Our only concern is the ocean is white rather than blue. Is there a tool or any way we can change the color to blue?

gdcoates,

Thanks for your post!

As the global layer is a satellite image, the ocean color is not user configurable; it is not a separate layer from the satellite data.

We are working on a new satellite image that has blue oceans. I will inform you when this is available.

gdcoates,

We have a new global layer for you. Please contact support@thinkgeo.com to setup a transfer method.

The new image is nice and I am happy for the blue ocean but the great lakes are still the wrong color (green) and look odd. Specifically as you zoom and the shape files then color them correctly.

One more update would be great. Of course a workaround changing the extent of the shape file is a workable solution but the base image being correct would be more elegant.

gdcoates,

Unfortunately, the Great Lakes are made up of many elevational differences that would make it difficult to change the colors to all match. There are many bodies of water present in the image that are not true color, it just happens that the Great Lakes are the biggest.
