I don't really understand why it's rendering all these 'extra' layers when it's zoomed in to a small area. The page takes about 45 seconds to load (which is quite unacceptable).

I tested the extent you give me using the current version of the Webforms Edition and Render USA and the response time were less than 1 second. What you can do is call support at 866-847-7510 and we can try and track down the issue. 45 seconds is unacceptable, and I am sure there is something major wrong to get results like that. We strive for sub second response times with Render USA.

What you are seeing are the last render times for that layer. When we implemented the render times metric we only updated the times for layers that are drawn so a layer that is no longer being drawn still would have its last time in the variable which can easily throw you off. In the latest version being released this week we have fixed this so layers not being rendered at the extent show as zero. We have also rounded the results so you get numbers like 0.001 instead of number like 75.009345E-01. This makes it much easier to read and find where the bottlenecks are.

Thanks

Issue has been resolved with new version and the utilization of Spatial Indexes (which caused an error in the version we were using).

The map renders very quickly now.

Thanks!

HI,

Can you help me drawing a blank map with 49.248600000000000,-123.120200000000000 as center latitude and longitude?

I used the above sample but the map is not seen.

thanks in advance
