I am still looking in the web edition for more information on this, but can't find exactly what I am looking for.

Is there a way to use the drag functionality from the SimpleMarkerOverlay in the InMemoryMarkerOverlay?  I want to add features to the overlay that have column values and change the tooltip/label based on user input.  I also need to store an ID on the marker for updating our source with new GPS when it is moved to a new location.  I really like the SimpleMarkerOverlay, it is easy to use and has almost all the features I need, I just need to store more information than it currently is able to do.

Jake,

Here is a sample on how to drag markers in InMemoryMarkerOverlay; just replace the AddAnInMemoryMarkerOverlay file in our how do I sample. Please have a try and let me know if you have more queries.

I tried my best to satisfy your requirement; but you know we have higher priority tasks to do and we cannot spend too much time on one post, so if you need further assistance about these new requirements, please contact support@thinkgeo.com; so that we can consider more about it.

Thanks,
Howard
