Dear All,

I am working on vehicle Tracking module. The situation like

Our GPS collected data and stored on our server in sql database (sql server 2005). Now my requirement is picking data from server and display current location of vehicle, complete route travelled by vehicle etc.

Now my question is:

1) how much this software will be helpful to us

2) Where I can get demo application / Software or not?

3) What is the server /client module in the software?

Please inform..

Thanks for your questions. The Vehicle Tracking Starter Kit is a great way to fast track your tracking solution project as it provides code on how to implement Vehicle Information, Auto Refreshing of the Map and Vehicle Data, Spatial/Geo Fence Creation and Editing, and Measuring Tools for the map. The Starter Kit also includes a sample database connections that can help guide you to connecting into your own location data.

As the Starter Kit is a project containing code we are not able to provide a demo application. You are welcome try our Online Demo which provides both Client and Server-side demos in our Demo Center: http://gis.thinkgeo.com/Products/GISDemoCenter/tabid/135/Default.aspx

Our windows (desktop) based application ....?
Our Web based application ....?
Our Mobile based application .....?

because I have to use in our web and Mobile application.

Hi Sanjay,

The Vehicle Tracking Starter Kit is designed as a basis for a Web-Based tracking solution. Thus only web application samples are provided with the Starter Kit.

You are welcome to use the ideas and code structure from these samples to create a Desktop or Mobile application but the Starter Kit does not provide specifiic samples for these platforms.

Just an FYI that we have a new Map Suite tracking option coming out soon. Look for our monthly newsletter that contains more details.
