The Map.Pan() function will move the map to a rectangle relative to the current one. Is there a mechanism to deliberately pan to an absolute rectangle?

Furthermore, can I do this using latitude and longitude?

Thanks,
Aaron

To move to an absolute rectangle all you need to do is set the CurrentExtent property on the map control and call a refresh.

If you have a point and you want to center the current extent on the point but keep your zoom factor you can use the CenterToPoint on the RectangleR object.

You can use the MapSuite DecimalDegrees.DMSToDecimalDegrees to convert your degrees, minutes and seconds into Decimal Degrees for your X and Y, and then use that to build your rectangle.

I hope this helps, if you need any further help just let me know.
